Milo

Milo is my dog and he sometimes joins me in my sessions - both in-person and online.

He usually sits on my knee or keeps to himself, and is extremely calm and gentle. I am hoping one day he will make a great therapy dog!

I let clients know when he is with me, and respect that some people would prefer to have dog-free sessions.

I have had the privilege of working and volunteering with NHS services and various charitable organisations. I gained valuable experience alongside clinical practitioners within a specialised service programme, where I received in-depth training in addressing both the psychological and physiological effects of trauma on the mind and body.

I believe that human nature and behaviour stem from our influence in childhood. I am therefore passionate about the theory and approach of Psychodynamic therapy, which explores the significance of past experiences in shaping present behaviour. I weave this theory into my practice where necessary.

I have been in my own personal therapy for over 10 years and understand how difficult it can be to open up and share what is troubling. I aim to create a safe space for my clients to talk in their own time, and respect everyone for who they are.
